This is a draft. It describes how the firm intends to handle its content, so every statement about process needs the firm’s confirmation.
What this website offers
The articles and practice pages give general information about areas of law in Pakistan. They are written to help you understand your options and decide what to ask. They are not legal advice, they do not take account of your circumstances, and they do not create a lawyer–client relationship.
How we write
- We use plain English and explain legal terms where they first appear.
- We answer common questions directly, then add detail.
- We do not promise outcomes, compare ourselves with other firms or publish unsourced statistics.
- We do not name clients without their written consent.
How law-dependent statements are marked
Any statement that depends on Pakistani law carries the marker until a lawyer has checked it against the current text. A marker on a page means that check has not been completed. Pages and answers are published only in line with the bar’s rules on advertising.
Review and dates
Each practice page shows a “Last reviewed” date and the name of the lawyer who reviewed it. If a page shows no review date, no review has been recorded, and you should treat it as general information only.
We intend to review each page again when the law it describes changes, and at least once a year.
Sources
We name the official bodies and instruments a page relies on and link to the body’s own website where we have a reliable link. Laws are amended, so always check the current text with the official source or with a lawyer.
Corrections
If you think something on this website is wrong or out of date, email info@rkcolegal.com with the page and what you think should change. We will check it and correct it where needed.
